Script and Meta Tags

Head Code and Meta Tags are rendered inside the HTML <head> of every page, Footer Code at the end of the <body>. Head Code accepts scripts and tags together, for integrations that need both.

In order to add head, footer or meta tags, you'll need to be logged in to your ACP.

Navigate to Appearance › Scripts and Meta Tags

You'll see input boxes for Head Code, Footer Code and Meta Tags.

• Head Code - Rendered inside the HTML <head> of every page. Use it for third-party scripts and any meta or link tags they require, such as analytics or site verification tags.
• Footer Code - Rendered at the end of the HTML <body> of every page. Use it for third-party scripts that should load after the page content.
• Meta Tags - Rendered inside the HTML <head> of every page, for example site verification or social sharing tags. Unlike Head Code these are always output, so do not put tracking scripts here.

When done, be sure to save by clicking Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
